Job Description

Position is responsible for quality assurance activities for Prosidio's software products and services. Primary responsibility will be to manage and lead the overall testing effort. This will require working with development engineers through out the software life cycle to create test plans and test strategies. Responsibilities will include managing a team of test and performance engineers, defining release criteria, defining system quality metrics, leading the test planning and test harness design, leading automation of regression test and analysis, identifying test cases, and managing the execution of the test effort. Cross function teaming with internal QA teams will be required to identify and set standards for testing and test success criteria.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

• BA/BS Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  
• 5+ years of experience in software QA of client server products and web applications
• Extensive experience with automated test tools (WinRunner, Silk, or Rational Robot).
  
• Experienced in development of test harnesses and/or test drivers for component level software testing
  
• Experience with C++, Java, and XML helpful
